So you'll be pleased to know my pierced ears are healing well. The new apartment is starting to seem homier. There have been some maintanence issues, including a shifty water heater and a leaky toilet. Actually, the toilet was spraying water from under the tank that leaked into my basement. When I asked the landlord if he wanted help wiping up the water in the basement he shrugged his shoulders and said he'd just let it dry up. Whatever, it's his property.

I got a job promotion already. My supervisor resigned a couple weeks after I started so my employer, CEMML, asked if I wanted her job. I was not really sure what all she did, but it was a nice raise so I took it. I officially started on Tuesday and so far so good.

In other news, my car was damaged in a hail storm earlier this month and deemed a total loss. It has some other engine problems so I am taking the insurance company's money and getting a new car. I should be driving a blue 2003 Honda Accord shortly.
