So it's been a while since my last post. It has been an eventful month. I graduated from WSU - yippee. My mom, grandma and aunt came to witness the event. Good times. I went to Wisconsin to visit Jeanette and Mike. It was great to see you guys in your element, and what a nice element you have chosen. It was quite an eventful couple of days. The first day Nette and I were looking at fabulous earrings and commenting on how we could not wear them because we don't have pierced ears. Then it dawned on us that we might as well get that whole ear piercing thing over with. We went to Claire's, squeezed a stuffed bear and came out with silver studs in our ears. One day Mike and Nette and I went to the Wisconsin Dells and took a boat tour. Very nice rock formations. I should really put pictures of all this stuff in this post, but I'm too lazy right now to wait for them to upload.

I have officially begun the next segment of my life. I started work last week at Fort Riley in north central Kansas as an archaeologist. Fort Riley is really big (101,000 acres) so they have seven archaeologists on staff to handle all the work. I just began last week so I don't have much to say right about it right now. I am still trying to get a grasp for what all my job will entail. I like the people I work with so far and that is a bonus.

When I took the job at Fort Riley, I knew I would not be able to drive 2 hours to and from work every day. I now rent a small apartment in Abilene, KS which is only 25 minutes from work and an hour and a half from "home." I go back to Wichita on the weekends. It is a real lifestyle change. I have a month-by-month lease on the apartment so either I will get used to this or I will quit my job and look for something closer to Wichita.

Congrats again on all the change - school, job, earrings. Best of luck with the commute. Also - I see that you have a yogurt maker in your lemonade stand. Nick had one and I ate some of his yogurt when I was visiting for Lisa's graduation. It was fantastic.

I think you need to put up an album on the mod picasa!

Congrats on graduating, and best wishes for the new job and living situation!
