Hot Chicken Curry in a Cold Office

The title of this post pretty much says it. Right now I'm eating my hot chicken curry (mmm...) lunch in my really cold office. It was 58 degrees in this room when I got here this morning. My nose started running so I hung out in the library instead. I came back for lunch and the temp. is up to 65 degress. Supposedly there is a work order out so someone should be coming to fix the problem, whatever it is.

This whole thing reminds me of when I worked at the Pettigrew Home & Museum last winter. The heating budget had already been exhausted the winter/spring before so in order to save money the temperature had to be kept around 65 degreees. That doesn't sound too bad, but when most of my time was spent sitting at a desk, not moving around, I got really cold. I used an electric blanket and wore gloves. Brrrrr....

Bangkok is on Rock...pretty south, like south of Kellogg. 2020 S Rock. It's delicious and very reasonably priced. My favorite I've had is a yellow curry with potatoes, carrots, and chicken (or you can choose beef or shrimp). You can order it mild, medium, hot, or Thai hot; I think mild is really good. I've also had the Pad Thai there, which is good too. We recently ate there with Brian's parents who said they thought it was just as good as Thai Tradition (which is a place I've never eaten because the one time Brian and I went in there and looked at a menu, we left because we didn't want to pay that much for a meal that night). Maybe we should have an outing...
