I hope y’all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I have to practice using "y’all" more now that I’m moving to KS. I had a pleasant Thanksgiving. I should actually say ThanksgivingS. When it was all said and done I experienced three. They were all good times … good times. I went to my first Javers family Thanksgiving. I would have to say that they are all ordinary Americans who basically eat and do the same things my family does on Thanksgiving. Surprise, surprise. I might have, however, actually enjoyed a crazy second cousin named Fred who only wears pink, shouts phrases in pseudo-Spanish to make everyone think he knows the language, and insists he needs to hide under the table to avoid assassination.
Yesterday, I told Julie I was officially resigning on January 8, 2006. She said she would really miss me and got a little teary eyed. I didn’t want to look at her because I knew I would probably start to tear up too. She really encouraged me in my educational efforts. The event made me very reflective for the last two hours of the day. I will certainly miss most of my coworkers. I hope I can find employment in the future with such neat people.

Nice blog. I've been wanting to read it for awhile and finally found the time tonight.
I'm debating setting up my own, but I have a hard time believeing that anything I have to say is worthwhile for someone to read...but mainly I am nervous about the title of the blog. That's tricky for me. Any suggestions?
Love,
Mikey D
Mike! How exciting to have another reader. If you set up a blog I will certainly read up on your (and nette's) life. Hmmmm ... a title ... Maybe you could call it Amateur Squirrel Catcher, or whatever it was that was in your dryer. Possibly you could use some gangsta lingo you learned from your students in your title - White Whoadi? What about Yep, I Wore a Speedo and Fairy Wings to Class?
See you at the end of December, punk.
What's the Amateur Squirrel Catcher??

Ern,
Mike had something a furry animal in his dryer a few months ago. I thought it was a squirrel, but it could have been another similar rodent.
