I Officially have Comprehenisve Knowledge of Anthropology

I found out I passed my comprehensive exams today. Exciting. With those out of the way I have begun to organize my thesis data. I started a Microsoft Access database of the artifacts I recovered from my work in Belize. I don't know much about Access so I took this corny 40 minute online course. It told me how to save and open files. How useful, because I didn't know how to do that before (can you sense the sarcasm?). I tried to figure it out myself and that has sort of worked, but there were some problems with duplicating fields in the primary key. Hmm ... I would fix it if I knew what a primary key was. Has anyone who reads this post found a good Access guide?

Polly had her second baby last Sunday - Estelle Caroline Waltner. I'm liking the name. Jeremy and I are going to SoDak this weekend. I'm going to visit the new Waltner and I think Jeremy is going to party at Hobo Days in Brookings.
