Clock Tower

Today I did something fun at work. The Old Courthouse Museum has a tall clock tower. The path up the clock tower is pretty rickety and involves walking on a roof with holes in it so for insurance purposes the public generally can't go up it. Today, as a staff member, however, I got a tour of the clock tower!

First stop was the little shack that houses the clock mechanism on the same level as the clock faces. It was a strange view to be behind the faces of the clock. We (Adam, Alyssa, Aaron and myself) then went to the lookout above. The view was great. You could see so much of the city. One thing I saw was my car below in the wrong parking lot with a bright orange ticket on the windshield (I forgot to move it at lunch). Parking ticket aside, it was still a neat experience.

Side notes: 1) Sarah sent me an email with a French laugh in it (hawn, hawn, hawn!) I was hawn, hawn, hawning when I read it. 2) After work I went to the Pizza Ranch in Brandon with Amanda, Dawn and Kellie and laughed my ass off. Good times.
